This 6 am prayer encounter is held Monday to Friday via Zoom, where we focus on disarming the enemy of our day and claiming our victory in Christ Jesus. We provide daily declarations aligned with scripture and take individual prayer requests to uplift our brothers and sisters in need.
As we work toward purchasing a building, we hold monthly pop-up services where we meet corporately as a body to engage in vertical worship, the word, demonstrations of the power of God, and fellowship. Check out GHOW Events for details on our upcoming services.
This 30-minute prayer booster, held Monday to Friday at 12 pm on Zoom, is perfect for anyone starting out in prayer or seeking to maintain a lifestyle of prayer. Every Friday is known as Unmute Friday, as we all unmute our microphones and engage in corporate prayer.
Our Bible Encounter is held every Tuesday at 8 pm on Zoom. We search and study the scriptures to learn how to maintain our faith and discover practical, Biblical principles to apply to our everyday lives.
Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.
(Hebrews 10:25) Every quarter the GHOW family takes time to fellowship in fun through games and food. The game nights are recognized by the overwhelming presence of family, friends, guests, exuberant laughter, candid moments, silly dance moves, music from every era, off-key duets and solos, loud chatter, and an abundance of food. In other words, our game nights are just like any family holiday event with good wholesome; clean entertaining activities.
In order to raise funds, GHOW hosts a bi-monthly fish fry off-site to support the building fund. GHOW operates by faith and reliance on the Holy Spirit—even in our off-site events. In a ministry that frequently engages with the local community, food is one way to draw varying cultures, backgrounds, and belief systems together.
Occasionally, GHOW creates temporary space and opportunities for local businesses and entrepreneurs to sell their products and services to the congregation and the community at large. Merch Pop-Up Shops allow for engaging shopping experiences and opportunities for new businesses to sell their products and services with minimal overhead and less risk. GHOW believes that hosting Merch Pop Up Shops enables the ministry to create kingdom connections and meet needs within the community.
Intern: The purpose of the Internship program is to raise up and mold male and female leaders. They will be mentored in spiritual disciplines such that they grow to support individuals or a group of believers that are new to the faith or not spiritually mature. Through this Internship program, interns sharpen their spiritual gifts and gain the confidence needed to succeed, while being held accountable to their superiors and peers. Internships can be virtual or face to face depending on area of interest.
Volunteer: GHOW loves people and the communities in which they live. As such, GHOW encourages members to volunteer their time, skill, and efforts to serve various local outreach and ministerial programs. Volunteer opportunities are available through shelters, prisons, hospitals, home visits, and children’s homes.
