When Jesus established the foundation of the church, He had a strong body, where members were connected to each other in mind. 2 Peter 3:18, “Continue to grow in the grace and knowledge of our savior, Jesus Christ.” The community was meant to be a place where anyone could become a part of and feel connected not just vertically (with him) but with each other, creating a horizontal relationship. At GHOW we take it a step further. After we connect, we encourage our community to grow:

BAPTISM/ G-Kids Ministry

New birth in Christ begins by accepting Jesus as Lord and Savior followed by baptism which begins your journey of growth. Baptism is a celebrational ceremony of your public declaration of one’s new life in Christ. The old man is buried and your new life in Christ is birthed (2 Cor 5:17). The process of baptism includes repeating a simple but powerful vow, being submerged in water that has been consecrated, followed by the laying on of hands and prayer over you by our Lead Pastor and ministry team. All of this takes place after you have been counseled and made ready for this commitment. This event is also open to those who desire to renew their relationship with the Lord.

Encounters

Encounters are times we meet as a body to engage heaven. These sessions of teaching the word, prayer and intercession are opportunities for our community to exercise their faith.

Daily Victory

This 6:00 am prayer encounter is held Monday to Friday and led by our host, Pastor Akeim Brown via zoom and streamed on our Facebook platform. This is where we feature prayers that disarm the enemy of your day.

Saturday Encounter

This is our main service held each week. We meet corporately as a body and engage in vertical worship, the word, demonstrations of the power of God, and fellowship. Held Saturdays at 6:00 pm

Midday Encounter

This 30-minute prayer booster is perfect for anyone starting out in prayer or seeking to maintain a lifestyle of prayer. It is held Monday to Friday at midday (12 pm) on zoom with the last day (Fridays) being unmuted Fridays.

Bible Encounter

This is held Tuesdays each week at 8:00 pm on zoom. In our Bible Encounter, we search the scriptures to learn more about how to maintain our faith and practical and applicable ways on how to walk in the path of salvation.
